1 In a saucepan add the oil and the onions. Cook until onions are transparent. 2 Add the meat and sauté for 5 minutes. Stir Occasionally. 3 Add the water and the salt. Cook for 20 minutes. 4 Now add the tomatoes, the okra, lemon juice, and salt. 5 Cover the pan and cook over a high heat initially, then reduce to moderate heat for 35 minutes. 6 Can be served with a serving dish of cooked rice. |
